It might be nice to know how the name Davitamon came about. This consists of three parts:
- Da: The first product that Davitamon developed was vitamin AD.
- Vita: this is the Latin word for life or lively, which is why the word is also in vitamin; vitamins are indispensable in life.
- On: This last part comes from Organon, the pharmaceutical company where Davitamon was founded.
